In addition to giving students the basic knowledge and general ability necessary for professional training, universities should have general awareness in the whole process of cultivating innovative talents, and strengthen the harmonious development of interdisciplinary training and students' comprehensive quality.Third, based on the "whole person" literacy structure, construct a reasonable curriculum system. For example, to cultivate students' basic qualities such as critical thinking, humanistic spirit and sense of social responsibility, College Chinese, history, ethics and other general courses are planned; Set up general courses such as advanced mathematics, philosophy of technology, logic, etc. guided by the requirements of the intelligent manufacturing society for the new type of labor force; According to the internationalization trend and strategic needs, general courses such as international relations and the history of world civilization are set up to cultivate students' ability of international understanding and participation.Fourth, on the premise of determining the functional boundary between the University and the college, a two-level public elective course system should be established. The school's public elective course system pays attention to the cultivation of students' basic knowledge and general ability. The school's public elective course system strengthens the collaboration between general education and professional education, and explores interdisciplinary and interdisciplinary collaborative education.Of course, general education is a complete system, and its effective implementation depends on the paradigm change of university education, which requires a long period of time or even extremely difficult reform. However, whether it is the construction of first-class undergraduate education and the cultivation of high-quality talents, or the social development and even the continuous progress of human civilization, it is necessary to give full play to the special functions of general education.
