Brave and Destiny

People say that the sea is a fascinating and beautiful place. The sea is sparkling, and the sea reflects the blue sky. It is one of the most beautiful scenery in the world. But what I see is a blue and black sea, endless and mysterious. When the sky is covered with dark clouds and the sea is rough, I see a rickety boat - Santiago's boat.

The old man was scrawny, with deep wrinkles carved on the back of his neck. He was very old from top to bottom, with only those eyes. He looked energetic and had an unyielding spirit. After 84 days of going out to sea and getting nothing, he did not flinch when facing this dilemma. He still decided to go out to sea to fish on the 85th day. Fortunately, on that day, he caught a huge fish. The old man happily carried the fish back, but a group of sharks were waiting for the opportunity to rob the old man's prey. The old man met the test of fate again. The first sharp angled shark stretched forward with its big mouth open, trying to pull the big fish down into the sea. Under the circumstance of risking his life, the old man stabbed with full determination and ferocity, and finally the shark turned over and did not move. However, under the siege of the sharks, only white bones remained.

Some people say that old people are heroes of failure. What are heroes? Heroes are seeds scattered in the soil. When necessary, they break through the soil and face the bleak life. But heroes are often close to failures, and those who fight against their own limits are close to failures.

The old man is indeed a hero, but he is not a failed hero. The failed hero is the man who laid down his weapons. The old man never laid down his weapons. He just lost his weapons and could not fight. He is not only a hero, but also a representative of faith and determination. The old man's heart is still sailing, the old man's ship is still moving forward, and he dreams of his own victory, which is still breaking his own limits.

The Old Man and the Sea tells the story of an old fisherman, but in this story it shows the common destiny of mankind. I admire the old man's courage and his unyielding fighting spirit.
