I once heard the saying that one must have the courage to go where you cannot see the shore . I once heard the saying that one must have the courage to go where you cannot see the shore.  In contemporary society, people are increasingly stuck in the arrangement of life and are unwilling to accept challenges. "If you decide to be splendid, the mountains are unobstructed, the sea is unobstructed", I think the famous writer Hemingway's San Diego best represents the spirit of this sentence.

In Hemingway's last novel, he explained the dignity of life between the lines, showing the equality between humans and nature in the protagonist's struggle with natural animals.

The old man in the book is a fishing veteran who has fished in Africa and has decades of fishing experience, but finally goes to sea for the pot-bellied guests in the hotel in a small fish village by the port.  He found nothing for dozens of days, even the boy in his apprenticeship's book was taken away by his parents. With the little boy's meticulous care and encouragement, he made up his mind to go out to the far sea to try his luck and catch big fish. But the old man's time adrift on the sea was not all smooth sailing. It was the boy's encouragement and trust that drove him to complete another thrilling voyage. During the long time that the big marlin was in a stalemate with him, he thought about the boy all the time, and the boy's daily concern and cooperation with him in the past, recalled these old men and missed him very much. On the contrary, these days are full of dangers and difficulties. The elderly not only have to face the dangers that may appear at any time on the sea, but also need to bear the loneliness and boundless fear of the night alone.

Behind the scenes, in July 1961, when the source of inspiration had long dried up, and illness prevented his body from moving around the world, the literary giant took up the shotgun in his hand and killed himself.  Before that, he deposited all his hopes for life and hope to continue living in this book. His writing describes not only the spirit of a fisherman, but also his own reflections on survival before the end of his life. It is not difficult to see from the story that the old man caught a large marlin at the end, but after the shark's plunder, only a skeleton highlights his exploits; Hemingway was the same, after winning countless awards such as the Pulitzer Prize and the Nobel Prize in Literature, he found that behind the glory was full of emptiness, the dark memories of the two world wars would be taken to the grave even if he died, and he ended his colorful life in a daze as the "lost generation" of the United States. The old fisherman's hand that does not let go of the fishing line is not an attachment to the appetite, but the pursuit of lofty goals and obsessions. As a seasoned veteran, he can easily catch small fish and shrimp offshore, rather than wandering the vast ocean in search of a big fish he has never met. Why is he? A man who needs the help of a little boy even for his daily food, but risks his life to go to distant seas? A lyric in Xu Wei's "Once Upon a Time" gives us the answer: "I once dreamed of walking the world with a sword and seeing the prosperity of the world." This lyric is a dream in the hearts of countless people, a goal, but how many people bravely realize their dreams? The old man, like a wandering traveler, set a goal, took a few bottles of water and sailed to the ocean, pursuing freedom and happiness in his profession without hesitation. He was already ready to die, otherwise how dare he face the dangerous sea and the big marlin in the same boat with a small wooden boat. The fisherman's positive goal is a reminder that trying is the first step towards change. Success is a full load; Failure leaves a memory. Decide on a goal, hang him in the corner of his head, and make a painful determination to let this choice and experience be imprinted in the memory forever. The tragic end of the old man did not disappoint me, he grabbed the fishing line, put his feet on the side of the boat, and squeezed the hook in his hand. Even when there was nothing left on his return, I was blown away by the hand he never let go. The light of life is your next step, and this step may be the step you take to start a new journey, maybe the step before you reach the end. Like an old man, chase dreams and persevere.

If you decide to be brilliant, the mountains are unobstructed, if you decide to be brilliant, everything in the world will help you.
