Jane Eyre
When I was a senior high school student, I has already read the book that called Jane Eyre. Our Chinese teacher taught and told us the background of the book. I can’t imagine that Jane Eyre is based on the real person. Jane Eyre stands for the author. This means that the experience of Jane Eyre is the author’s experience. So it seems like autobiography.
What impressed me most is that Jane Eyre’ love of learning. When she was a kid, she was ostracized at her aunt's house. Jane Eyre’s aunt hate her. No matter what Jane Eyre did, her aunt also thought she was lied. Besides, her cousin always did domestic violence on her. Then her aunt sent her to Lowood Boarding School. Maybe in our mind, school is a peace and happy place. However, for Jane Eyre maybe it didn’t. Before she went to school, the headmaster of the school thought she was a liar and person with bad characters. At school, Jane Eyre ate badly and was wronged. In people’ mind, she was a Ungrateful person. Nevertheless, she didn’t care about that. And she studied hard. In the end, she applied for a tutor with honors. For myself, how blessed I am. I was born in a ordinary family. I didn’t need to go through such a bad childhood. What’s more, It is a time of peace and people People respect each other and help each other. After reading Jane Eyre’s the experience of learning, memory of the past comes into my mind. One of the most important exam is college entrance examination. In order to get a good mark in the college entrance examination, I should master a lot of subjects, can understand knowledge profound and use them to answer the questions. During the time, I was so tired and I always wanted to give up. But when I think of Jane Eyre, any difficulty can be overcome. For her, she experienced such a bad day. She was faced with a disease that called typhus. What’s more, she personally watched the death of a friend, Helen. What a big hit to her. But she still could overcome it and put herself into study. Then leave the Lowood Boarding School as she wished.
Jane Eyre said such a paragraph, which impressed me deeply and reflected her character. She said: "If everyone is always obedient to cruel and unfair people, then those bad guys will be more willful, they will not be afraid of anything, so that they will never get better, but worse and worse, when we are beaten for no reason, we have to fight back fiercely." I agree with Jane's statement, precisely because self-esteem and self-respect are the minimum requirements for being a human being. But Helen Burns, her view is diametrically different from Jane's. Helen advocates that you can endure everything you can, so that you are happy and others will treat you better. I think Helen's words seem very incomprehensible to us. But her tolerance, tolerance, and her broad heart are admirable. We don't need to judge her words, at least we should learn something from them. I love Helen's quote: I think life is too short to be worth spending on grudges and revenge. As long as each of us can remember it, understand others more, be considerate of others, care about others, see more perfect things, and treat life optimistically, our life must be full of sunshine. I think Mr. Rochester is the light in her life, although Mr. Rochester and Jane Eyre are quite different in age, but Mr. Rochester can understand Jane Eyre's mind, can understand her, and understand her. After Mr. Rochester and Jane Eyre fell in love, Jane Eyre had a great time every day. But Jane Eyre is not just a little girl who is obsessed with love. At the wedding to Mr. Rochester, Mr. Rochester's secret that he already had his wife was revealed, and Jane Eyre felt cheated. Even though she loved Mr. Rochester very much, she left Mr. Rochester and told him not to look for her. Jane Eyre's view of love and the way she handles things is also something I admire. At the time, Mr. Rochester was the owner of Thornfield Manor. He has a strong physique and wealth. In contrast, Jane Eyre is just a tutor who has just come out to work. There is a big difference in status and wealth between them. And Mr. Rochester fell in love with Jane Eyre, and for many girls in poverty, perhaps marrying him was an opportunity. But Jane Eyre resolutely left him after knowing the truth. And in her concept, she believes that love needs to be equal for both parties. This is also one of the reasons Jane Eyre left Mr. Rochester. Later, Mr. Rochester went bankrupt, but Jane Eyre unexpectedly received an inheritance and became someone who no longer had to worry about life. At this time, Jane Eyre chose to return to Mr. Rochester's side. I admire Jane Eyre very much. Because as a person with wealth, it takes courage to choose again to return to a person who is bankrupt and already disabled. But Jane Eyre still chose to return to him. And this time she considered herself equal to Mr. Rochester.
After reading this book, I understood that I can't give up despite the hardships of life. Enrich yourself forever and become an independent person.
