鸡翅吃饭

Jane Austen, born in a small English town, is a representative of 18th-century British rural women, she is sensitive and sensual, in the face of the peaceful life in the countryside, she used her keen eyes to write one novel after another describing the rural landscape, the content of the novel is no wind and rain born and dead, are ordinary rural life, but these in Jane Austen's pen is written vividly, vividly. Among them, pride and prejudice are one of them.

Although this is a story that took place in the 18th century, the reason why a classic is called a classic must be particularly unique in its beauty. Today, three hundred years later, re-reading this book of pride and prejudice that has a place in the history of world literature, we can still find the progress of this work, and we can find the shadow of today in it.

In 18th-century Britain, women were still in a weak position in marriage. In British society at that time, girls did not have the right to education, even if they did, they only learned some skills such as piano, dance, and singing. And the reason for learning these skills is to marry a good man so that he can live a happy life. Like Elizabeth's sister Mary, she studied singing techniques in anticipation of attracting men's attention. But Elizabeth was a smart, intelligent, and independent woman who seemed to have an independent temperament at the time, she had the courage to break through the shackles of class concepts, knew how to be herself, and pursued equality between men and women in love. Through Elizabeth, Austin expresses the author's awakened feminine consciousness. In her writing, Elizabeth is a rebellious woman. He is lively in all situations, full of wit and humor, and loves to ridicule and fool others. Every debate she had with Darcy ended in victory, and Elizabeth's denunciation changed Darcy's innate pride and prejudice, and convinced Darcy by her wisdom and original opinion, and this keen observation and judgment based on independent temperament was the real reason why Darcy fell in love with her..

And in the face of love, she also maintains the value of an independent woman. She does not agree with the weak position of women in marriage, let alone that women are accessories of men. She turned down two marriage proposals from Collins and Darcy, which seemed inconceivable at the time. Elizabeth's family is poor, and with no brother or brother, she can be said to face the crisis of being helpless for the rest of her life, and in the eyes of her parents, marriage is also one of the straws to ensure her life. Based on this, when Collins proposed to him, in the face of Elizabeth's rejection, he firmly believed that this was just a shy and polite pretense that she was in the girl's position, because he thought that Elizabeth really had no capital or reason to refuse him. And Collins's view reflected the mainstream values of society at that time, men's strength in marriage was taken for granted, and respect for women was only a manifestation of the quality under the gentleman's character, and in the bones, facing women was a kind of high arrogance.
