The book which we look at is one of the best ways to have a better understanding of Chinese culture origin and realize where the Chinese culture is derived from, especially for foreigners.
Initially, in this day and age, the people were closed unprecedentedly by the Internet. At the same time, countries' culture spreading rates are increasing out of the blue. So, some books were born to introduce countries' cultures in many aspects and perspectives so that countries can develop their cultures and keep pace with the age. Secondly, we can find that this book gives an introduction about Chinese culture differences between China and other countries, and shows the unique highlights of Chinese culture. I hold a firm belief that we can have a good command of Chinese traditional culture, such as calligraphy, painting, and landscape gardening. Not only can we learn to improve our English capability, but also broaden our horizons of traditional Chinese culture. Thirdly, this book ranges from ancient wonders such as Forbidden City, the Great Wall to enduring artwork of calligraphy, painting, landscape gardening. What more, in the description and analysis of A Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival, the author provides a platform and insight to inspire readers to give their comprehensions. Ultimately, my favourite chapter is The Great Wall. This text is written in a firmly fluent and charming way. Not only is the fascinating picture presented to readers both in China and abroad, but also the readers can grasp the essence of Chinese culture.
Ultimately, I will draw the conclusion of this book. I sincerely consider this book a rare opportunity to realize traditional Chinese culture in a fun way. To some degree, it’s more like a history book than a simple culture book. I strongly recommend this book as a way of learning history and improving our English level in our leisure time. By reading this book, I obtain the ability to represent my emotions and know how to describe a splendid and magnificent scene. At the same time, their insight provides a new perspective for me to grasp a deeper understanding of the true essence of Chinese culture.
