Pride And Prejudice
子衿.
The novel tells the story of a romantic and realistic love
between Elizabeth and Darcy, and filled with reflections on whether
status and wealth are important for marriage, which makes it even more
profound. It' svery evocative. As the novel's title suggests, at the
beginning of the novel, Darcy strikes us as arrogant and aloof, and
Elizabeth's first impression of him provokes resentment and prejudice,
even later, Wickham' s denigration of Darcy under the feelings of hatred
and hatred. Likewise Darcy had not fallen in love with
Elizabeth at the ball and indeed had despised the demeaning attentions
and attachments of Elizabeth's parents and sisters, and had persuaded
his good friend Bingley to leave her sister Jilly. But after many
conversations with Elizabeth, he gradually fell in love with this
independent lovely girl, and he confessed his love to Elizabeth after
the sense and sensibility match, and finally explained the
misunderstanding between the two people resolved the contradiction. This
is where two-way love begins. It's a pure emotion, a desperate love.
Darcy was willing to put aside everything about identity and status, and
he was willing to put aside other people's opinions for the sake of
love. Elizabeth is not looking for Darcy's wealth. She really married
love and harvested happiness. In stark contrast to Elizabeth,
her sisters Jilly and Lydia are married to the ideal of love at first
sight, and one to a sham of material wealth. The former is desirable,
but the latter is absurd, and will end badly. The older sisters maturity
and beautiful attract love for her, while the younger sister's naivety
and levity invite deceit and suffering. Facts have proved that love is
based on self-respect and self-love, without the independence and strong
personality, will eventually be abandoned by the cruel reality. 'In the
pursuit of love, we must be firm in our faith, not because of money,
fame or other reasons for hasty decision, to insist on finding true
love. Once you ' re made up your mind to value each other, don't change
your mind just because someone else tells you something, work on your happiness."
