A Telephonic Convers
*ZX*
A Telephone Conversation is a humorous short play published by Mark
Twain in 1880. The author introduced a telephone conversation between
women as a bystander. Although the people on both sides of the phone
enjoyed their conversation, the content of their conversation sounded
more like an intermittent and incoherent monologue to onlookers. The
story expresses the author's peculiar feelings about the modern
invention of telephone, and profoundly embodies the style of Mark Twain.
