Jane Eyre's Spirit

I want to talk about the book itself. Jane Eyre is known as one of the most beautiful novels in English literature. To my limited knowledge, this evaluation is appropriate. Most of the descriptions of scenery psychology in the article are beautifully worded and fluent, as if they were poems. When you read them carefully, you will feel the fragrance of your teeth and cheeks.

Compared with the beauty of the text, the spiritual core of Jane Eyre's book, that is, the promotion and praise of Jane Eyre's noble personality and the praise of her sincere emotion, is more worthy of recognition. Jane Eyre, as Rochester's governess, is the representative of the lower middle class women. Rochester owns manor and land, belongs to the gentry class, and has entered the social circle of the lower aristocracy.    I highly recommend Jane Eyre, in addition to its charm of universal value that will not fade with time. Another important reason is that in today's China, this book, surprisingly and naturally, has regained its epochal significance. In my opinion, China's current society is so similar to the Victorian era. It is a period of rapid development of social material civilization. The gap between the rich and the poor has widened sharply, and the social strata are stratified. In terms of gender relations, more economic responsibilities are given to men (in the Victorian era, men were required to support family expenses, provide for their wives and children, and hire servants. Now, Chinese men assume the obligation to buy houses). The utilitarianism of marriage has been greatly deepened (to be fair, the utilitarianism of marriage is prevalent in any era, but its severity is different). On the surface, women in the Victorian era were very well treated, and their husbands had the obligation to support them. But remember this sentence: "There is no free lunch in the world".
