Jane Eyre is a book written by Charlotte Bronte with poetic and philosophical strokes, describing the growth experience and emotional course of Jane Eyre, an intellectual female who is self-respecting, self-love, pursuing equality, freedom and personality independence. Jane was adopted by her uncle when she was young, bullied at home, and then sent to a church school to die. Leaving school at the age of eighteen, she persuaded herself to be hired as a governess at Thornfield Hall, where she fell in love with Mr. Rochester, and through a series of trials and trials on both sides they settled on a marriage. But on the wedding day that Mr. Rochester has a shut in the manor and insane wife, Jane Eyre fled the manor. Jane Eyre has the courage to admire. She never flinched in the face of love, and, before Mr. Rochester had made himself known to her, she professed her love with earnest earnestness, and had the classic emotional line :" Do you think I am an emotionless machine? Do you think that because I am poor, humble, unbeautiful, small, I have no soul, no heart? You think wrong! If God had given me a little beauty and a lot of money, I would have made it as hard for you to leave me as it is now for me to leave you. I do not speak to you now by the rules of social life and custom, but my heart speaks to your heart, as if we were equal before God, because we are equal!" Imagine, who would refuse a firm and clear eyes, dare to resist, have a clear bottom line, in front of the powerful neither servile nor arrogant, do not lose personality lovely person? Despite her stubbornness, this is her distinctive character. Not just for love, but also for friendship.  In her youth, she preferred to be punished rather than submit to her relatives and teachers. To love, she did not give up because of her birth to accept love, she believes that love is equal. When she found out that Rochester had a wife, she resolutely left him, believing that love is not charity. In Jane's values, she would never allow herself to be the mistress of any man, even if he could give her the life she wanted most. So, Jane Eyre once again back packing, alone travel.

The ending of Jane Eyre, as we know, is warm and healing. Through Jane Eyre's bumpy life experience, she portrays an independent and strong female image for us. Jane Eyre has beautiful sentences, and the author is good at psychological description. Through the way of the first person, there is a strong sense of substitution and resonance. Jane Eyre, the hero, is an ordinary girl, but she has been fighting with fate and pursuing the life she wants. She sought a state of emotional independence and equality, which was very rare at that time. Jane Eyre taught us how to choose and how to face life, wrote a new chapter of female awakening at that time, and gave readers profound enlightenment in growth and feelings.

In my opinion , Jane Eyre is a perfect and great book. In the period of Industrial Revolution, Jane Eyre well embodies the progressive thoughts of women's pursuit of freedom and equality. When reading this book, because the character Jane Eyre in the book, often in the first person way to think, as if in a dialogue with the reader, coupled with a lot of real details, so that I can often into their own thoughts in the scene, Jane Eyre suffered from unequal treatment and the loss of a friend, Jane Eyre was happy when the ideal love, Jane Eyre's rough life experience, both sad and happy.
