A simple story

As I have read all the stories about Holmos in Chinese,this story seem easy for me to read.This story is not like 'The sign of four',the clue is quite clear,so obvious that many people can guess the end of it.As a result,it lack some pleasure of thinking by ourselves and seizing the answer by ourselves.It's quite a pity.
