Reflection
爱学习的干饭王
Only when a person combines their knowledge with various aspects to
examine and compare each true knowledge can they truly understand and
master these knowledge, and make them useful to themselves. A person can
only think carefully about what they know, so they must learn new
things; However, only those things that have been carefully considered
can become his true knowledge.Thinking and reading can have different
impacts on a person's spirit, and the magnitude of the differences is
incredible. Therefore, this further increases the inherent ideological
differences between people - due to differences in nature, some people
love to think, while others enjoy reading. Reading is the imposition of
certain foreign and heterogeneous ideas on our minds, which do not align
with our spirit, just like a seal forcibly leaving a mark on
paraffin. Therefore, our minds are subjected to completely external
pressure, thinking about this and that at the same time, neither out of
instinct nor out of liking.A large amount of simple reading can cause
our spirit to lose its sensitivity, just like a spring that continuously
receives heavy pressure and promotes elasticity. If a person doesn't
want to use their brains to think, the safest way is to pick up a book
as soon as they are free. This explains why being knowledgeable and
knowledgeable often makes many people more foolish and numb than before,
and hinders the success of their works. As Pope said, they have always
been: constantly reading others, but never being read by others.
