This novel is too funny.Although it is only a novel,Mark Twain use this ridiculous short novel to show the dark in the running in USA the Lighthouse of the democratic world,the free and democratic country,the model of a democratic country.
What the running is?A competition to chose a capable and just manto lead the people?No,I think it is only a ridiculous competition to trick the people.The candidates would wish you a lot of beautiful things,the wonderful dream.But after he became the governor,the commitments is still commitments.
And during the running,the competitors would use everything he would to bring shame on other candidates.Look at our lovely Mr.Mark Twain ,a man who has good character become a thief,a Body-Snatcher and so on.
