By telling the stories of two young people, this book inspires me to strive hard and pursue my dreams with perseverance. In the book, Harry Walton achieved his dream through hard work, while Luke Harrison failed to do so. Through the story of this book, I understand what kind of character can make a person and what kind of character can ruin a person.
The whole book revolves around these two people, the plot is smooth and unpretentious, but it is deeply meaningful. Our life is like this. Such plain and little things pile up into life and make up our life. That's how we grew up. I realize that getting ahead is not easy. It requires certain conditions, rather than something you want. Some people just have the ability and don't necessarily get ahead, while some people are ordinary but successful. Life is full of opportunities and uncertainties. In fact, not many people can really get ahead. How many people in the world are just doing ordinary things and living ordinary lives.
As a college student, I should grasp the present moment. Strive to create a better future.
