Be Careful of Our Choice
Since we were born, god began to give us a lot of gifts, but each gift need to be chosen wisely .Otherwise, we will be regretful for life just like the hero in this story.
I believe that no one is willing to give up fame, love, riches, pleasure but to choose death! The hero maybe think it in this way.
When young, he couldn't wait to choose enjoyment, finding all the young man's pursuit of pleasure all over the world. But in the end, he found that all the pleasure was short-lived which made him very disappointed. He regretted, so the fairy gave him a second choice.
As an adult he took away the love, however, after many years, what left for him is a coffin. He cursed the damn love. This world really has the so-called eternal things? In the end, just like the hero,ererything is bound leave and fade away.At that moment,the fairy give the hero a chance again.
The hero chose the gift he considered a wise choice – fame.A few years later, however, he sat alone in the twilight,with the myriad of thoughts. He was wondering why his name is from known to erery household to being ridiculed.The reputation hurts the people born as a result of fame which is actually bitter and miserable. So, fame is not a wise choice, like an arrow, stabbing into the heart.
Faced with value and death, ordinary people will not hesitate to choose riches, the hero is not exceptional also. He thought with a silver spoon in her mouth is power, but failed to think whether their choice of riches is blind. Is that choice really wise made by the hero? Not necessarily. Because in the elderly, he figured out what the pleasure, love, fame, wealth actually mean. They just are a timeless reality which cover the pain, grief, shame, poverty of persona, and they are fading one day. By in contrast, death is priceless.
At the end of the day, he saw through his life and want to rest in peace when the fairy appeared again, but there is no more death which has been given to a child. The man asked: "so what's left me?" "You control: years of capricious insult."
Life is full of choices, and sometimes we might felt guilty like the hero in the story after a unsensible choice.However ,time can not return once it pass by. So keep in mind that thinking twice before you make up your mind.
