Jealousy and mother's lov

Although the title of the story is "The Adventure of the Sussex Vampire", there is nothing to do with the word "vampire". Instead, we can see true love of a mother as well as jealousy of a 15-year-old boy Jack.

    Mother's love is perhaps the greatest love in the world. In this story, the mother spares no effort protecting his son at the age of 1 from being poisoned by his elder brother despite she herself is regarded as a vampire who will attack the baby. We have seen much stories of such love like a mother who catches her baby falling down from a high building.
