The Flower of Evil
余温白xg
The novel is recognized as a world masterpiece, and the British
writer Maugham even named it as one of the ten best novels in the world,
alongside War and Peace. The description of the male master was adopted
by the old owner of the villa, because of humiliation and love failed,
go out to get rich. After returning, he took revenge on the landlord and
his children who married his girlfriend. The whole story is full of
strong anti-oppression, struggle for happiness spirit, and always
shrouded in strange, tense romantic atmosphere. In fact, if I
read this novel alone, I only feel a kind of almost crazy obsession with
love, which makes me a little confused, but when I delve into the
background of the story and the author's life state, I seem to
understand something. Learn about author Emily Bronte, who grew up
living in a small house on a wind-swept moor. Learn about author Emily
Bronte, who grew up living in a small house on a wind-swept moor. She
was silent on the outside, but inside she could write, "My soul is
not cowardly." The love sickness, madness and enthusiasm in her
works, I think, are beyond the scope of human society, just like the
wild wind whistling past, not being tied by anything. From this point of
view, Wuthering Heights is not only a love novel, but also an important
text that explores human nature, society and morality. It made me deeply
realize that love is not the only factor that can determine the
direction of life. Social status, family background, character and so on
May become insurmountable obstacles restricting people. The author
skillfully combines complex character relationships, subtle
psychological changes and vivid descriptions of the environment to form
a complete picture. This novel not only made me feel the complexity and
multifaceted nature of human nature, but also made me better understand
the culture and values of British society at that time. A savage
vitality of Wuthering Heights, a civilized and weak Thrushcross Grange,
in love and hate, is the impact of civilization and barbarism, is the
intertwining of love and hate. The book is also a reminder
that revenge is not the best way to solve problems. On the contrary,
forgiveness and understanding are the best medicines for healing wounds.
Only in an atmosphere of forgiveness and understanding can we truly move
beyond the shadow of the past and into a bright future. To forgive
others is to let go of yourself. This wisdom is not only vital when we
face setbacks and injuries in life, it is also the key to becoming
better people and moving towards a better future. I look forward to the
next review reading, will let me appear different feelings.
