Because of Love

When I was in junior high school, I read Jane Eyre for the first time. But at that time I was too young to understand what it said. And I was not interested in the story at all. I thought it was just a simple story about love and what the characters did is nothing special.

However, when I’m growing up, I gradually understand what the story means. Last summer I went to the Grand National Theatre to watch the drama of it, I was deeply moved and almost cried out. And this semester I read the book again. I began to realize how grate they were to make their final choices.   Next, I hope to show what character moved me in the story.  

The first character is the equality. Although Mr. Rochester was very rich and Jane was poor, Mr. Rochester didn’t behave like higher than Jane or think of her as just a servant. On the contrary, he treated her sincerely as a good friend. That made Jane attain dignity which she never had got before. And I believe real love is bond to content dignity. That’s why their affection could be lasted and remembered.  

And second is the purity. Jane never mind whether Mr. Rochester was rich or poor, and they all think of love beyond money. So even Mr. Rochester had nothing left in his manor, Jane still loved him and was willing to get married. When I grow older and older, I really understand how precious the purity is between men and women. Too many people choose their partner for other purpose, rather than the pure love. So it’s definitely horrible if most part of female want Wang Sicong to be their husband. Obviously, they don’t care for real love and what they persuade is just money or political power, and so on.

Then it’s the loyalty. Their love trilled through many years’ time. And even they all got old, they couldn’t abandon each other. That makes me think of the famous poem When You Are Old, which said How many loved your moments of glad grace,

And loved your beauty with love ,false or true,

But one man loved the pilgrim Soul in you

And loved the sorrows of your changing face;

Finally, I hope that every one could find the partner he or she really loves and have a blessed life.
