Reaction of the work

This collection of works by O. Henry, one of the "Three Masters of Short Stories in the World," includes multiple short stories. After reading it, I still remember many of the plot points.O. Henry's understanding of the lower class and sincerity in love between men and women are not compromised by his own life's difficulties.Overall, the plot design of the story is clever, and the development of the plot is unexpected yet natural. The language is humorous, and the details of the character's appearance, clothing, and environment are well described. Many comparative techniques are used, such as comparing the details before and after, comparing language and action, comparing the changes in the narrator's viewpoint before and after, and using irony with profound meaning.I am certain that this is definitely a classic work that cannot be missed.
