The novel Pride and Prejudice depicts the five daughters of a courtesan
named Bennet, with the protagonist being his second daughter Elizabeth.
She met Darcy at the ball, and at the ball, Darcy talked to his friends
about a sentence: "She can still speak the past, but she is still
not beautiful enough to move my heart." She, who had already heard
of Darcy's arrogance, developed a disgust towards Darcy, not to mention
how Darcy later "ruined" her sister's marriage. But since they
met, the gear called fate has quietly turned. After going through some
twists and turns, the truth was finally revealed. Elizabeth lifted her
prejudice against Darcy, and Darcy also let go of his arrogance. The
lovers eventually became married. This work is based on daily life and
vividly reflects the conservative and closed state of rural life and
social customs in England from the late 18th century to the early 19th century.
