"The Dubliners" first came into contact with the short stories collection "The Dubliners" by the Irish writer Joyce. The keynote of the novel is full of the word "bondage", half of which is the bondage of the living. Half of the dead are still tied... Sisters Father died of a strange disease from a useless chalice. What does the chalice break symbolize? The destruction of ideals. The priest died of religious paralysis, and the sisters did not understand it, only a vain "peaceful" funeral... often met with stories that ended abruptly, unexhausted, even angry, like many encounters that ended without a cause. This time I chose the Writers' List... and the reason I bought this book was that it was mentioned in the introduction that it was ranked higher than "One Hundred Years of Solitude," and after reading it, I realized that each has its own merits. And "Dublin" is more intriguing. The cover of "Dublin People" has... a good novel is like a museum. This is a very apt saying to describe "Dublin People".
