陈洁荀

At first I read this book because I was attracted by the title, which seems to be a novel of storytelling, and I was curious about what kind of story it is.

A 13 year old girl falls hopelessly in love with a 25 year s  old writer after meeting him, obsessively follows everything about him because he gets better at school, and falls in love with books in order to have something in common with him. At first, the emotion was positive for the woman, but later, when her mother remarried and the woman left the building where she lived with the writer, she was never happy. A few years later, he left home and returned to the writer's neighborhood, only to see him often. After spending three nights with the author, she became pregnant with the author's child, but did not tell him, only gave birth to the child herself, and even sold her body in order to raise the child. A few years later she met the writer again at a dinner party, and they spent another night together, and from the previous night until that night, the writer did not recognize her. Instead, it was the writer's old servant who recognized her as a little girl from the previous family, which was really heartbreaking. The woman had been stressing throughout the letter that the writer had not recognized him, how much she longed for him to recognize her, but not once. What a heartless, unscrupulous man. But she still loved him, unable to extricate herself, and it was only after the death of their boy  that she was willing to tell the writer her story, her love.

Her life belonged to him, but he knew nothing of her life. This is a heartbreaking and infuriating story. I also wonder if the woman once told him everything about her, would they have a good ending? The answer is no. That's the kind of man he is. He won't change. The woman knew this clearly, she knew him, so she wouldn't tell him everything until she died.

I don't think it's necessary to mock the third view of the novel, it's not telling us to do that, it's just telling us that such things can happen in the world. We think of small as listening to a story, and we can learn from it. In my opinion, this book describes and makes people understand that everything is self-delusion paranoia, but can make people realize the importance of sanity in the relationship.

From an artistic point of view, the novel is undoubtedly a remarkable work. Zweig's storytelling prowess and exquisite prose make him perhaps the best male writer to write about women. The delicacy and tenderness of women, in his pen touching, the whole reading down like see ing a movie, all the pictures are played in front of the eyes.

Upon re-reading "A Letter from an Unknown Woman," we can more deeply appreciate the linguistic charm of the author Stefan Zweig. With delicate strokes, he portrays a woman's life, showing her perseverance and helplessness in love. This story gives us much to ponder about love, destiny, and the meaning of life.
