Frankenstein is a novel written by English writer Mary Shelley in 1818.
The novel tells the story of Frankenstein, a biologist who is passionate
about the origin of life, and he frequently haunts the morgue with a
criminal mind, trying to piece together a huge human body from various
parts of different corpses. When the monster finally came to life and
opened his eyes, Frankenstein was frightened by his terrible appearance
and fled from him, but he pursued Frankenstein for companionship,
warmth, and friendship; What follows is a series of bizarre mysteries
and murders. The language of the novel is simple and beautiful, and the
plot is exciting and moving. In the novel, the author slowly tells the
reader a story about Frankenstein from three perspectives and narration.
Through the three perspectives, Mary Shelley criticizes the human
indifference and some drawbacks of the society at that time.
