There was a scene in "Cup of Tea" that impressed me. Rosemary
bought a lot of flowers, and the thin female staff holding the heavy
flowers followed her one after the other. Rosemary did not react or
provide any help, reflecting her lack of sympathy for the people at the
bottom, which also laid the groundwork. Rosemary's help for female
beggars in the later article was also on a whim and hypocritical.
