Treasure Island tells the story of an English boy, Jim Hawkins, who happens to get a treasure map from a old Captain Bill and sets up an expedition to go Treasure Island with the help of the local judge Dr Livesey and the squire John Trelawney. On the way to find the treasure, Jim and his crew gradually find out the insidious true face of John Silver,then battle wits and courage with these vicious pirates. Last they finally succeed in obtaining the treasure. This story makes readers deeply feel the great attraction of money to people in the 19th century. Money can change the feelings between people and make people do whatever they can to get wealth. It's just like Silver and others are willing to kill others for money, they are completely lost in money.
