After reading A Little Princes
Believe it or not,The Little Princess is a warm and elegant book which is regarded as a classics exceedingly deserving to be read by all girls.When you meet with difficulties in your future life, please think of Sara, a girl never giving in to fate .She will give you endless courage!I will be attracted by this book every time I read it and the intricate plots deeply touched me.
Sara,who grew up in a wealthy and enviable families,could always get what she wanted. She was obliged to leave her dear father for an all- girls school at the age of 7.The principal of that school was a snobbish woman,valuing Sara’s property,elevated her position and praised her if there were chances.However, misfortunes came upon her suddenly.On account of a failure in business,her father went bankruptcy unfortunately and finally passed away.From then on,Sara became a poor and helpless maid,which makes readers sign and regret deeply.But as the saying goes ,”one good return deserves another.”Unexpectedly,with the help of an Indian gentleman,her circumstances gradually improved and came into her father’s money in the end.
There is a story in this book which I can’t forget.
That was a cold night.Snowflakes were drifting down and the piercing wind chilled me to the marrow.Sara was walking on the street with her ragged clothes.In a sudden, she found a dime on the ground near the baker's shop. She picked it up and buy 6 loafs of of bread.The bread just touched her mouth when she noticed a beggar girl was huddled up in the corner of the step. She looked frightful in her wet and dirty rags.Sara sent a a loaf of bread to the poor girls.She was just like a hungry dog,desperately trying to plug the bread into her mouth.Kind Sara sent more 4 loafs of bread to her,leave only one for herself.
If you are in a dilemma just like Sara,what is your choice?Will you sacrifice yourself to help others?Will you not begrudge to sent your bread when you are also very hungry and do not have money to buy bread again?Our Sara’s words leaves a deep impression on me. "If I'm a princess," she was saying, "if I'm a princess--when they were poor and driven from their thrones--they always shared-- with the populace--if they met one poorer and hungrier than themselves. They always shared.”Though she had only one bun,she still felt happy,because she helped the poor child.That’s what a princess should do.
When it comes to princess,a teleplay called Tiger mother and cat dad run into my brain.Qianqian is a cute girl whose mother is very strict.She thinks she is a princess,wearing beautiful dress everyday.However,what makes a lots of people disgust is that she uses her families as personal slaves.What a capricious and discourteous princess!
So here comes the question:What is a real princess looks like or what things a real princess ought to have?Beautiful dresses?Luxury carriages?Fair castle?In fact,these things is of no importance.In my heart,I think we are supposed to keep having self-esteem ,keep confident and keep kind,whether rich or poor,whether life is rough or comfortable,if we want to be a real princess.Last but not least,face every day with full hope and vitality and treat everything with a tolerant heart.
At the age of eleven,Sara began to do menial work and even eat leftovers, but she never lost her modesty. Such a girl is a real princess.External things are not important.The little girl ,Sara , was on the streets again and again, but she held tight to her deepest hopes and dreams,sparing no effort to be a real,a meaningful princess.
Here,I want to emphasize the end which really exceeds readers expectations.Coincidentally,the Indian gentleman living near the school was actually her father’s friend.Sara’s tough and optimism lead his whole family to admire and like her.The Indian gentleman transferred her father’s heritage to the poor but strong girl.Yes,as you can see,she became rich again.Just the saying I mention above,” one good return deserves another.”Not only did kind Sara gain true companionship,she also got a huge legacy.She decided to try her best to help the poor in the future.
Compared with the little girl,I am more happier because.I can eat delicious food and dress myself with beautiful clothes everyday.But being such a strong and brave girl is a difficulty for me in fact.When I was kid,I wanted to become a princess as well,just staying at the material level.Now,I realize the spiritual level is of great significant.I decide to learn Sara,having a noble heart.
All in all,I am so fond of this book that I read it many times.This is the first time that I have read it in English.It is really an excellent works.
