summary
The story of this book is quite short, and the expressions are easy to understand. At the beginning, we can see Sally’s boyfriend Andrew phoned her in the morning. He wanted to meet her in the evening and asked her to wear her blue skirt though Sally told him it is dirty. At the lunch time Sally went to buy a new skirt in red with her friend Claire. Then Sally had a coffee in a cafe. When sally ‘s bag fell to the floor, sally met Paul. He picked up the bag but mistakenly they exchanged their phone, which made them confused when using the phone called someone later. Paul’s sister wanted to tell Paul about her birthday party but it was sally in the phone. Having found that they took each wrong phone, they had appointment to meet in queen’s square. Paul buys some flowers for his sister and invite sally to go with him. At the end, sally chose to go with Paul instead of Andrew.
in this story, Andrew is always requiring sally to do some without rejection. However, Paul shows more respect and care to sally. Maybe that was the reason sally goes with Paul ultimately.
