This book tells the story of Tony's piano journey as a poor child. Tony's grades are not good, and his performance in group singing was not outstanding. In order to support his large family, he went to work at Mr. Wood's house on a farm. Although the salary is not high, the couple treats him very well and treats him as their own son. One day, while cleaning Mr. Wood's old room, Tony discovered an old piano and tried playing it. Surprisingly, despite not having studied piano, he played a wonderful piece, which caught Mr. Wood's daughter Linda's attention and earned her admiration. So Tony began his piano journey. He was discovered by Mr. Gordon for his piano talent and participated in a competition, achieving a high ranking, thus becoming famous and changing his name to Anthony Evans. Later, he married Linda and toured around the country, receiving rewards at the White House and earning a knighthood. He was with Linda for sixty years.
After the story of independence, I understood that when a person shows interest in something, they should boldly try and not be afraid of difficulties and setbacks. Perhaps this can be a major event that affects their life. Just by doing it and having their own dreams, life has value.
