Book Review

The Selected Works of Emerson and Thoreau is a collection of the works of the famous American writers Emerson and Thoreau. This paper mainly introduces the life and writing style of the two writers, and selects their representative works. Through reading this book, I have a deeper understanding of the two writers' thoughts and works.

The two writers have profound thoughts and unique views on society, life, nature and so on. Emerson's " self ", " spirit " and other ideas have great inspiration to me, and Thoreau's " simple life " concept also let me reflect on their own way of life.
