The book vividly shows the diversity and profundity of China culture in
refined English. From ancient philosophical thoughts, such as
"benevolence" of Confucianism and "nature" of
Taoism, to exquisite traditional arts, such as calligraphy, painting and
Beijing opera, to unique folk customs, the grandeur and connotation of
festivals such as Spring Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival are all
presented one by one. It not only made me realize the unique charm of
China culture on the world stage, but also made me understand the
importance of cultural communication.
