Huckleberry Finn

孙思雨
After reading The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, I was deeply moved by the themes of freedom and courage in the story. Huck flees from his restrictive life and embarks on a raft journey along the Mississippi River with Jim, a Black slave. What appears as a simple adventure is actually a pursuit of freedom. Despite societal pressure, Huck defies racial prejudices and chooses to help Jim escape, demonstrating kindness and a sense of justice that transcend his era. The novel’s critique of racism and exploration of human nature remain relevant today. Huck’s experiences taught me that true growth lies in challenging prejudices, upholding inner goodness, and safeguarding the light of freedom in a complex world.
