The Crowd Book

The Crowd by Gustave Le Bon is a famous book on group psychology. It
points out that when people gather in a group, they easily lose their
sense and become impulsive. Individuals in a group often follow others
blindly and are easily controlled by strong emotions. Their intelligence
drops and they only accept simple and direct ideas. The book also
explains how leaders influence the masses with repeated words and strong
slogans. Although some ideas are old, it still helps us understand
modern society, public opinions and group behaviors. It is a great book
worth reading carefully.
