Book Review on Chine

This Chinese Culture Reader published by Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press is a wonderful reading material for English learners. Written in clear and standard English, it covers a wide range of Chinese culture, including traditional festivals, historic sites, classic philosophies, folk arts and modern developments. The articles are well-organized and not too difficult to read. While improving our reading skills and accumulating useful English expressions, the book also helps us deepen our understanding of traditional Chinese culture. It lets us learn to introduce our culture in proper English. In my opinion, it is both practical and meaningful. It builds a bridge between our native culture and the English language. I highly recommend this book to all students who want to learn English and spread Chinese culture.
