Book Review
起雾了
A Little Princess, written by Frances Hodgson Burnett, is a warm and
inspiring classic novel about kindness, dignity and inner strength. The
story follows a little girl named Sara Crewe, who lives a wealthy and
happy life at school at first. However, after her father’s sudden death
and bankruptcy, she falls from wealth to poverty and suffers coldness
and unfair treatment. Despite the terrible hardships, Sara never
complains or becomes bitter. Instead, she keeps her kindness, politeness
and noble heart. She chooses to face misfortune bravely, comfort others
in need, and maintain a positive attitude towards life. To me, the most
touching part is that she remains a “princess” not because of her
clothes or money, but because of her gentle and noble soul. This book
teaches readers a valuable lesson: true nobility lies in good qualities
rather than material wealth. It encourages us to stay kind, hopeful and
strong when facing difficulties. In conclusion, A Little Princess is a
meaningful and timeless book that is worthy of reading by people of all ages.
