A Brief Book Review
The Conduct of Lifeis a classic by American writer Ralph Waldo Emerson. It talks about fate, power, wealth, and how to live a good life. The ideas are deep, but the writing is beautiful and powerful.
I found the chapter "Self-Reliance" very inspiring. Emerson tells us to trust ourselves and think independently. He does not give easy answers, but he makes you stop and reflect. This is not a light read — you need patience and focus. But if you take your time, each page gives you something valuable.
For English learners, the old style can be hard. I suggest reading with a Chinese translation nearby. Still, the wisdom inside is worth the effort. A meaningful book for thoughtful readers.
