抒情文
When preparing for the College English Test Band 6, I struggled a lot
with memorizing scattered words until I got this vocabulary book written
by Jin Li. It turns out to be the most practical word-learning material
I have ever used for CET-6. What makes this book stand out is its
frequency-based classification system. The editor sorts all syllabus
words according to their real occurrence frequency in past CET-6 exams,
dividing vocabulary into high-frequency core words, low-frequency core
words and rarely-tested hidden words. Unlike traditional books ordered
by alphabet, this arrangement clarifies my review priorities perfectly.
At the early preparation stage, I only focused on high-frequency words,
which quickly helped me remove vocabulary barriers in listening and
reading sections. In the final sprint period, I turned to less frequent
words to fill knowledge gaps, greatly improving my learning efficiency
without wasting time on trivial words. Besides scientific
classification, its memorization methods are impressive too. The book
combines word roots, illustrations and associative memory, making
complex long words much easier to recite. Authentic exam examples
attached to each word also create real language contexts, letting me
know not only spelling and meanings, but also how to use words correctly
in sentences. Written by an experienced English education expert, this
book fully targets the demands of CET-6 candidates. For students who
feel frustrated by endless vocabulary recitation, it is definitely a
reliable helper to lay a solid word foundation and pass the exam smoothly.
