观后感
After reading this English culture reading material, I have gained a deeper understanding of Western daily culture and social customs. Different from Chinese traditional culture, Western culture values personal independence, free expression and individual creativity. In daily life, people respect personal space and independent thinking, which leaves me a deep impression.
The reading also introduces Western festivals, dining manners and communication habits. I find that every cultural custom has its own historical origin and unique meaning. Culture is never simply rules, but the accumulation of history and the reflection of people’s lifestyles.
This reading helps me break my fixed thinking. As an English learner, I realize that learning a language is not only about memorizing words and grammar, but also about understanding the culture behind the language.
