What is essential is invisible

王昊阳

The Little Prince is a world-famous book,so many people have written a lot of book reviews about it.Therefore,I find it difficult to provide a better book review or a deeper thought about this book.

But I must say that I don't agree with the opinion that The Little Prince only talks about the beauty of childhood and the frightfulness of adulthood.Influnenced by the movie which is on recently, many people hold this opinion. However, what the author wanted to talk in this book is much deeper than this.

"It is only with the heart that one can see rightly, what is essential is invisible to the eyes."a fox said. It's my favorite sentence and I think it is what the author really want to express. It doesn't just mean that we need ruturn to the innocent childhood.Virtually,it tells us a truth that love and other essential emtion could only be felt by heart, but we are often interfered by what we actually see.So we trust our heart, not our eyes.

Besides, there are other deep thoughts in this book. Thus, in a word,The Little Prince is a fairy tale book, but it isn't just a fairy tale book.

   That's all.
