Little Prince Had Never Gone
Where is the little prince?Did he really die of poison of the snake?Or he had come back to his planet,with his beloved flower?We can not ascertain what the ending is.But deep in my mind,the little prince had never gone.He is living in people's hearts,in which they have always been young.Creating this cute boy,The Little Prince is such a wonderful book of imagination.So innocent,the book is definitely a magnificent one worthy to be read.
Little Prince,a boy who got lost on the earth,met"me"in the desert.Through his story,we know that he was from so small a planet that there were three volcanoes,several Baobab Trees,and specially a beautiful rose,merely.On the earth,he casually encountered a fox,a man,5000 roses,and even a snake.Before he came to the earth,Little Prince had been to a few planets,where there were strange men,some adults,doing their strange work.A king of the universe,who always giving commands,a lamplighter continuously serving his duty,a drunk to forget his shame to drink,and a businessman who never stopped his calculating,were all that Little Prince met on his traveling,which is quite incredible to "me",an adult with a little childlike innocence remained from the adult world.Nevertheless,when Little Prince cried out as a child,"I"submitted to the fixing task,trying to listen to him,and comfort this vulnerable boy.Finally,Little Prince left,thanks to the bite of a snake.Maybe he was dead,and maybe he had arrived at his planet.Whatever,he had gong,while "I"finish fixing the plane,going back to the adult society.
Finishing this book, I was thoroughly impressed, for the personality Little Prince showed us. His innocence is brilliant.He is completely a child, with a pair of inquisitive eyes.Reading his story, we might think of the period when we were children, either. It is the innocent boy, Little Prince, that rouses our memory of childhood.In other words, Little Prince is our childhood, for his representation of a forever boy in everyone's heart. In the story, we could not figure out how old Little Prince really was. But one thing we can be sure of is that since the author created this vulnerable boy, he had never grown old.That was to say, in our minds, Little Prince is eternally the image of a child, who stays forever young.That's why this book,as well as Little Prince, can last,and he would never disappear form people's hearts. Albeit he was bit by a deadly snake and left the world in the story, he seemed more likely to meet his beloved rose,or have another journey towards people's heart.
Is it because the book is such a wonderful fairy tale that it enjoys its reputation?From my perspective, there is something else that is worthy to be considered.I think Little Prince is the symbol of youth,child and innocence.In another word, Little Prince might even be the imagination of "me",or a more romantic way to express the the childlike innocence. In the story, "I"was trapped in the desert at the center of nowhere,for aircraft accident."I"was lonely in the desert,and all I could do is to draw, to draw in a child's way.In the desert far from the society full of adults, I was able to rouse my childlike innocence, to recall his own mind, and to achieve what he wants to do.Admittedly, "I"did not have a good command of drawing.I painted for several times to give myself a perfect goat.That was to say, I was the only company of myself in the desert. That's what the author wants to convey.Everyone has his childlike innocence, in another word, a Little Prince, in his heart. Nevertheless, in the society of adults, we might not let our prince wander freely. We hide him in our hearts. Only when we are facing the loneliness, we may have the chance to calm down, having a heart to heart talk with the innocent boy.So as "I"was in the story. Thanks to the crash, finally I was able to release my prince, listening to him, sharing his wonderful experience, his irony description towards the adults, the drunks, the businessmen, the kings, the lamplighters, and the geographers. I fully expressed myself with my prince, until my aircraft was fixed that I had to go back to the society of adults. That's the time to say goodbye to the Little Prince. I would come back to the adults, as well as Little Prince would leave. This further meaning is what really made the book successful.
Will we encounter with our prince again? Certainly.
Little Prince had never gone. He long lives in our hearts. Because of this, we may always keep our childlike innocence. Wait until that was the time for us and the Little Prince to meet again.
