ROLYAT

Love is undoubtedly real

ROLYAT

I just think it ridiculous to hold the view that romantic love is something human invention or culturally specific emotion.

Some people think that a person will never fall in love, if he has never read a romantic story.Such opinon is obviously paradox. From my perspective,if someone has never experienced a romantic love, it's totally impossible for him to write out a love story which can strike a chord in readers' mind. Therefore, such stories of course does nothing to help the readers know about romantic love, not to mention to feel it just through the reading.

In my opinion, our feeling for romantic love is surely innate. This is the reason why we can completely catch the main roles' feeling including happiness, painfulness or something else when we read a love story. What's more,it also explains why sometimes we will feel an electric shock at the first sight of a strainger. It is impossible for love stories to help us acquire the ability to love, and I think an emotional fluctuation is all what they can offer to us.

The whole passage has discussed this proposition in a very logical way.It uses comparisons, quotes and giving examples on how anthropologist study this question. Therefore, though it is short,I think we can still learn a lot writing skills in it.

I think this passage is interesting and I wish I can keep reading more passages and books in English.
