Today I read the story.The leading character in the novel is a young man named John Perkins, he and his wife Katy married for two years, in a rented apartment and in a poor environment, the daily life is like a pendulum, boring and fade . Perkins was tired of this life, after work, he managed to escape his wife's nagging and complaining, ran to his friend to play billiards. One evening, Perkins returned home but found his wife left a note that Katy's mother was ill, she wanted to hurry back to take care of. Facing the empty room , Perkins had never felt lonely and attachment to his wife he ever tried to escape, everything has now become a extravagant hope. His pain self confession, swear must take his wife back with her, don't throw her at home lonely. However, when his wife was suddenly back home. face to his wife, Perkins's warmth and attachment moment without a trace, he picked up his hat and went to his friend's house to play table tennis. After read the story,the writter tell us“ Get lost to abandon, want to save, people are always living in such anxiety worry about personal gains and losses.”We always have time not to cherish the time lost, too late for regrets.what should do to lead ahappy and interesting life, we all like to have a good time everyday ,so we should cherish the people and things around us.
