I've always had a respect for the nobody. They can't create value like big people, but they know they can't owe anything to anyone else, and they've always held on to the bottom line of what it means to be human -- or, rather, they've never dared to cross the line. Call it cringe or cringe, but I'd rather interpret it as a kind of fear of conscience. Can't owe, this is their living dignity. But those who in the world to eat, do not blink would dearly love to in front of them should be dead too.
