This book is full of romantic color and life philosophy, among which the most moved me is nightingale and rose.

 A young man wants to dance with his sweetheart, but first there must be a red rose. When the nightingale heard his cry, it was moved by the young man's love, so it gave its life to cultivate a rose. However, the girl refused the young man's love. In the end, the young man angrily abandoned the rose.

 The author uses many symbolic techniques throughout. The rose symbolizes the finest beauty in the world, the nightingale is a seeker of beauty, the young man is a waiting man,  and the professor's daughter symbolizes the man who is beautiful outside but utterly empty inside.

 The girl once pursued the rose, but when she received the jewelry, she decided to give up the rose. "Everyone knows that the value of jewelry is much more than flowers." In her eyes, the red rose condensed with true feelings were not as good as the jewelry readily given by the rich man.In the story, only nightingale and rose really understand love. Secular girls do not understand, cowardly youth do not understand. Sadly, in the end, the nightingale dies and the rose is abandoned.The sharp contrast of characters and the unexpected ending of complex bring huge emotional impact to readers.
