God, I read "Gold and Silver Islands" this book. In the story, a little boy named Jim shocked me.
Jim was a boy who grew up in a hotel. Once, he came across a pirate's treasure map. When his friend heard of this, he chartered a great ship, hired some seamen, and began to sail. On the island, however, the sailors fought with Jim to get the treasure. Jim got a cut in the shoulder, but he swallowed the pain and killed the bad sailor and got the ship back.
After reading this book, I understand a truth: we can't trust him just because we see him with a smile on his face. We can only trust him through practical observation and investigation.
