【 Wuthering Heights】The book shows that "the depths of human nature are full of evil flowers, full of resentment and despair." what do you think of the good and evil of human nature?
We can't judge good and evil just by what a person does. I think it is
more necessary to explore his purpose in order to distinguish good and
evil among people
The good of human nature is that everyone's heart is kind. After
revenge, Heathcliff didn't get the happiness he imaged. That means he is
still kind. He does not take pleasure in hurting others. Finally, he
gave up revenge.
If it was not for the love of Catherine, he would not choose revenge; if
it was not for the defilement of the concept of money family, Catherine
would not betray love.
I still adhere to the principle of good human nature. In fact, the
characters portrayed in the book have something hateful, but they also
have pitiful places.
