Something new from Robinson Crusoe

羁鸟

"I wasted no time, nor did I slack off, in getting down all that was useful on board; and even if I had had more time, there would not have been much that was useful on board.".

This is a rational choice made by Robinson as a social person. Only by acting quickly to solve the problem of survival can Robinson regain his freedom.

Robinson's time-sparing action philosophy is not uncommon in his later activities.

Most of the time, his behavior is not an instinctive reaction for survival, but a planned and orderly way to make his life more safe and comfortable. Especially, his management of time is strict and clear.

Analyzing his philosophy of action from the point of view of his management of time, it is obvious that every activity of his, such as building his own dwelling, making furniture and tools of labor, managing crops, etc., entails the cost of time and labor.

Without the pressure of competition and the pursuit of a higher level of life, he would not have to consider everything about how much time and effort it would take, as long as he could at present solve the problem of survival, but he was not satisfied, he must make his life more comfortable.

Therefore, the smart mind must consider the time and efficiency, in order to achieve the goal through action more quickly.
