In my opinion, humble and not humble is the portrayal of Jane Eyre, although she came from poor, seemingly weak heart but very strong and tough, have their own ideals and pursuits, self-esteem is very strong. When she was young in foster care at her aunt's house, she did not fear violence, and even fought with her cousin. As she said :" do you think, because I am poor, low, not beautiful, short, I have no soul, no heart? No, you're wrong! I have a soul like you —— I have a heart too !"
