Robinson Crusoe
Jjonak
It's easy to know that the whole story revolves around adventures. Robinson had four major adventures in his life, and all these adventures are risky. Every adventure has the potential to take his life, but he challenge nature, society, outmoded rules again and again. In different period he has different motivation to venture out. In his youth he just want to chase his own future and prove himself to others. He ventured out in his later years because of his abhorrence of human society. The contrast between his long life in the wilderness and the darkness of human society made him choose to venture out again. It shows his growth and how capitalism turned from good to dirty at the same time.
