love story between Jane and Rochester

“I will abide by the laws of God, and I will stand by the principles that I accepted when I was sober, not when I was as mad as I am now.”From the novel,  until  the day when Jane and Rochester got married, did Jane know that Rochester had a wife. In this situation, she decided to leave . On a deeper level, Jane Eyre was aware that she had been deceived, that her pride had been played on, and that she loved Rochester. But Jane Eyre made a very rational decision. Surrounded by the power of such a love, and seduced by the lure of affluence, she still insists on her dignity as a person, which is Jane Eyre’s most spiritual attraction. The novel ends on a brighter note -- though Rochester’s estate is ruined and he is a cripple himself, it is precisely this condition that makes Jane Eyre free from the conflict between dignity and love, and at the same time gain your dignity and your true love. In today’s society, people are crazy for money and status to drown love. Choose between rich and poor, and between love and not love choose not love. There are few people like Jane Eyre who have given up everything for love and character without a second thought. What Jane Eyre shows us is a kind of Return to Innocence, a kind of love that seeks to give its all, and a kind of dignity as a human being. It is like a glass of ice water, purifying everyone’s mind.
