Pride and prejudice

       I had read the book in Chinese several times before, and each time I read it, I had a different taste. If the hero is rich and handsome, the heroine must be a Cinderella with a twist. Although there are less human accidents, but also from the characters of different characters in the book to see different angles of love view, so let people think. 

       This novel with the protagonist Elizabeth and Darcy love entanglements as the main line, tells the story of several young men and women in the late 18th century British villages and towns of marriage and love, vividly reflects the town life and the world. The relative narrowness of the subject matter does not limit the author's vision. On the contrary, the author sees the big from the small and reveals his deep feeling with a delicate writing style. The author gives a stark example to the readers with the experiences of the hero and the heroine: the hero's arrogance in the first meeting triggered the heroine Elizabeth's prejudice, and finally almost missed each other. I think this is why the author first titled the book First Impressions. She wanted to use words to warn future generations that first impressions do not necessarily belong to the truth. Let go of pride and prejudice, and get closer to true emotions. Not just in love, but in everyday relationships as well. In the age of big data, we are all forced to become social creatures. "No man is an island". We must understand the principles of how we conduct ourselves and let others see us clearly. Only in this way can we widen the distance between people, realize heart-to-heart communication and contribute to the harmonious development of our society. 

       Every character in the novel is described very bright, reading at the same time, I often compared with my current life and characters, my lover and I are like two protagonists. The significance of this work is not only to bring future generations a correct inspiration of love and marriage, but also lies in the rules it reveals: people should not be arrogant, treat people should not be prejudiced,don't treat others with first impression.At the end of the story，I thought:"you can't judge a book by its cover",and "character determines destiny".
